Because Shamba’s club has an important match in March 2 against Lille she has to return to play for club. Nepal went to final after winning against Lebanon by 2-1 in in semi-final.  Before leaving to France Sabitra Bhandari has left some message for her fans and the Nepali football lovers: ” My dream to play for my country is still important today as when I came from my village thinking to wear that national jersey. Wearing my Nepali jersey, every second in the ground I had played as it was my last game. There is any hardly any greater pride than representing Nepal. We are playing final in WAFF Women’s Championship but as a player I have to respect both professional career and a contract. My club has always created a comfortable atmosphere for me, I want to thank club for letting me more time to play as a national player for my country than FIFA had allowed.

I believe our team will continue to maintain the momentum in the final and take the trophy home. We have given a high performances as a team and went to the final. Even though the opposite team is tough, I believe being united once again playing can give us a win. Even though I will not be there in the ground as a player but I will be supporting my country from outside. And the way I used to cherish the goal of my team in the ground, I am eager to share the same goal spirit from the team. Good Luck Team! we can, we will.”

Nepal will be facing Jordan today at 21.45 pm (9.45 pm) Nepali time. Good Luck Nepal
