Nepal vs PNG- Nepal won the match by 85 runs
Nepal Sports- In the ongoing 2024 Hongkong Men’s T20I series Nepal cricket team has won the match against Papua New Guinea (PNG). The game which was held in Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground PNG won the toss and decided to bowl first. In the thrilling match against PNG Nepal made 198 runs losing 6 wickets in 20 overs. In the other side PNG were unable to catch the target and were all out in 13.1 overs scoring only 113 runs.
Kushal Bhurtel became the Player of the match with 59 runs in 39 balls and taking 4 wickets in 4 overs only giving 12 runs. For Nepal Sandeep Jora made 56 runs in 26 balls and Binod Bhandari made 27 in 22 balls. Pratish GC was able to make 2 wickets in his name but was the most expensive 4 overs of 40 runs, Gulshan Jha took 1 wicket.
Papua New Guinea were not able to stand in the ground for a long time, Hiri Hiri making 28 runs in 19 balls and was catch out by Gulshan Jha, Sese Bau 21 runs in 13 balls were as Tony Ura scoring 13 runs in 6 balls. For PNG Nosiana Pokana 4 overs were the most expensive overs giving 38 runs in 4 overs with 1 wicket, John Kariko’s overs was too expensive 37 runs in 4 overs with only 1 wicket.
